The Review Process

The Mitchell Literary Review welcomes student-created literary works such as poems, short fiction, and short dialogues.

Students are encouraged to learn about copyright law and author consent in the publication process via the Mitchell Literary Review LibGuide.

Student work may be submitted to the Review Board using our online form.  Submissions must be accompanied by consent to the board review process and a brief autobiography (100-200 words).

Students will be notified of the status of their acceptance via email.

The Review Board reserves the right to edit accepted works for spelling and grammar/syntax.

The Review will publish works up to twice per year (January and June), depending on submissions received.
